We're a team focused on undercover reporting in the public interest. We're looking for a small number of people to work with us. We want people who think this kind of journalism matters, and the bar is high.
Our team are specialists in investigating high-level political and corporate influence, and have been responsible for major projects on ExxonMobil, Project 2025, Gulf petrostates, Russian shadow fleets and, most recently, illicit funding in Reform UK.
We work internationally so you could be based anywhere. We pay competitively based on location.
This is exacting work and few people are suited to it. You don't have to be a journalist - in fact, we are especially interested in people with expertise or experience in other fields - but you do need an exceptional record in whatever you do. You'll be someone who stays composed under pressure and whose judgement other people rely on. This role could be full-time but may also be a short or long-term project that could fit around other work. APPLY
You'll take projects from first idea to publication: developing the story, planning and running the production, managing a small team, and working closely with lawyers and broadcast partners. You'll have a track record of running complex, sensitive projects with little margin for error, and the judgement to match. APPLY
